Gregori Klosman's Guru imprint continues its rich vein of form as Miami's DJ Sub Zero is next to take flight. Bringing the party vibe with plenty of swagger and bucket loads of personality, "Girl" is a deep, groovy workout that ignites every dancefloor it spills its guts over. A bona fide club bomb, this one has got some serious legs. Dancing legs. Driven by an underground, highly addictive bassline and wild, crunching synths, the track has a tough backbone that is complemented by the ghetto-funk vocals and tightly worked groove. Despite its power and energy, "Girls" keeps a lid on things, exploring a funky, deeper, more visceral attitude instead of spilling over into frenzy. Because of that, taking it to the edge and teetering there, "Girls" has an innate edginess that makes it such a compelling track. This is definitely one that deserves to be cranked up to 11.
