OFF Recordings jumps back to its headquarters and brings on the young talented production duo of Berlin-based Marlon Hoffstadt and Dansson. Sounding promising with releases already scheduled on Play It Down and Stil Von Talent, they prove their potential by delivering one dancefloor bomb in this new single. "Hot Strings" might suggest a 90's string-dominated typical track, but this one is not at all the case. Its a deep-hop-funk sounding tune with a driving hypnotic rap vocal that provides a unique vibe. The track's simplicity of elements leaves room for a heavy funked bassline and leads that give you that proper ghetto feeling. Truly another deep house essential by OFF.
